Mission Bay Park is the largest man-made aquatic park in the country and is the world's largest instructional waterfront facility. It is one of the most popular locations in San Diego travel and tourism for flying a kite, picnicking, or sailing a model yacht. Fire rings make it possible to cook out and stay warm. Mission Valley Shopping Center
This newly renovated shopping mall was built on farmland in the early 1960s when the valley was still an agricultural paradise; things have changed, but avid shoppers from our Pacific Beach hotel still think they are in paradise. Dozens of shops and restaurants make the open-air shopping mall a perfect place for serious shopping, browsing and feeding. The new AMC 20-screen multiplex has revitalized the popular center.
